Sam Walton was raised in a family farm. However, farming did not provide enough money for the family and his father got involved into farm mortgaging. The family moved to Florida, where they travelled from one city to another. Sam Walton went to school in Missouri, where he was also admitted to be an Eagle Scout and became the youngest Eagle Scout in Missouri. Thus, the family settled in Missouri finally.
Sam Walton worked a lot of jobs in order to help support the family financially. He milked cows and stored the milk in bottles and then drove it to customers. Also, he delivered newspapers.
