The chef was born in 1970 in Rome, Italy. However, she spent a bigger part of her life in Southern California. In 1996 she graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles, where she got her degree in social anthropology. Later, Giada De Laurentiis continued her education at Paris’ Le Cordon Bleu.
