Carl Weathers after that was studying at Long Beach City College and after that at San Diego State. When he was studying in college, Carl Weathers was playing football so well that he even attracted some scouts. In 1970, he was playing in the Oakland Raiders team and as a part of it he appeared in 7 games. In 1971 he played in one game with the team. In the period of 1971-1974, Carl Weathers was playing in the Canadian Football League.
